Bring the Aussie rocker home
Next year will mark the 20th anniversary since the tragic death of INXS singer Michael Hutchence, which has sparked an online campaign to have the Australian rock icon immortalised in Sydney.
The campaign which has gained the support from fans and Hutchence’s family is wanting the musician placed in Sydney, the city he was baptised in and where he was layed to rest.
On a web page dedicated to the campaign states; “It was only fitting that he be honoured in the city of his birth, the city which he loved, the city to which he planned to return.”
