Super Madge To The Super Bowl
We've possibly found one good reason for millions of music fans to tune into next year's Super Bowl. Well, three good reasons in fact.
Madonna has been announced as the half time entertainment, with her act to be "imagined" by those creative little boffins at Cirque Du Soleil, and American actress Jamie King.
The Super Bowl halftime show is the most-watched musical event of the year. More than 162 million viewers in the U.S. alone watched last year's show. The Super Bowl and halftime show will be broadcast worldwide. And Madge joins an esteemed list of recent halftime acts that includes The Black Eyed Peas, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and U2.
Just which songs she will be performing live is a bit of a mystery. But that's just the way we like it.
