Six AFL Clubs Affected After Major Sportswear Manufacturer Goes Under
Major sportswear manufacturer BLK has gone into receivership, reports Triple M's Jay Clark.
Six clubs wear on-field gear made by the company, including Adelaide, Brisbane Lions, Richmond, GWS, Gold Coast and St Kilda.
The Saints only signed a three-year deal with BLK within the last month, while the Western Bulldogs changed from the manufacturer to Asics.
According to the AFL website, a spokeperson said: "Our commercial/licensing departments are in the process of gathering as much information as they can from the receivers to understand the implications for those clubs in the competition that have a relationship with the company for 2017.
"We have six clubs that will be affected in some form."
More to come.
