Meg Lanning Blasts Australian Record Score
Southern Stars skipper Meg Lanning has blasted an absolutely ridiculous score for Victoria in the Women's National Cricket League.
Lanning posted 190 off just 153 balls - the highest score ever recorded in the competition's 21-year history, and one of the highest across all forms of limited over cricket - to put Victoria in a commanding position at 3/320.
It was a score opponents Tasmania couldn't chase down.
It breaks the previous record of 175, also held by Lanning back in 2012.
Lanning's monstrous knock was her seventh century in the format in just 47 innings, alongside 14 fifties.
The 24-year-old now averages a remarkable 58.17 in the competition, and a whopping 90.45 with five centuries and four fifties since December 2014.
