Global Rugby Tens Draw Revealed

It’s billed as a new hybrid between traditional rugby and sevens, now we know who’ll be playing who in the 2017 Brisbane Global Rugby Tens.

Home team the Queensland Reds have been drawn in Pool B alongside Kiwi sides the Crusaders and the Blues, and Samoa.

There’s an international flavour to Pool A with Aussie teams the Rebels and Waratahs along with Kiwis the Chiefs, and Japanese side the Panasonic Wild Knights.

Wealthy French club Toulon headlines Pool D with Perth’s Western Force and New Zealand’s Hurricanes.

Pool C features the best Aussie Super Rugby team in 2016, the Brumbies, who are tackling South African side the Bulls and Kiwi team the Highlanders.

There’ll be 28 games in the competition with a raft of international stars.

A cool $1.6 million is up for grabs at Suncorp Stadium on the 11th and 12th of February, 2017.
