Club Bosses Storm Out Of Meeting With NRL
The NRL's effort to end a damaging rift with its 16 teams has hit another hurdle with four club chairmen storming out of a meeting with the peak body's key officials on Wednesday.
North Queensland's Laurence Lancini, Cronulla's Damian Keogh, Canterbury's Ray Dibb and Melbourne's Bart Campbell walked out of Rugby League Central after just 30 minutes.
ARL commission chairman John Grant and NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg had been meeting with the chairmen of the clubs in the hope of coming to a deal on funding and the salary cap.
