The Rabbitohs have signed former Roosters and Panthers star Anthony Cherrington.
Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire believes Cherrington will be a great inclusion to his squad.
“Anthony has a lot to offer the Rabbitohs,” said Maguire.
“He is a versatile forward who can play both in the middle and on the edge. He comes to us with experience in Rugby League and a good attitude to want to establish himself at the Rabbitohs. He will add to that depth and competition in our squad which will be a positive thing for our Club.”
“Anthony will be a great inclusion to what we’re building here at South Sydney.”

Cherrington, 28, has been working very hard on himself away from football, and Souths will now continue to support those efforts.
“I took all the money for granted when I was young,” Cherrington told www.foxsports.com.au.
“I’ve been at the bottom. I had nothing when I came out of school and now I’m back at square one and I can’t see why I can’t make it.”
A number of serious knee injuries limited the one-time Kiwi rep star to just 19 NRL games for the Roosters between 2008-2012.
He has spent the past three years playing for the Redcliffe Dolphins in the QLD Cup.
