Plenty of beach closures as wild surf's lashing at the Central Coast today.
At the time of writing, six spots including North Avoca, North Entrance and Ocean Beach have all been shut off.
We're currently dealing with a choppy 3-4ft swell at the minute, and that’s set to get worse across the afternoon, with a peak of up to 8ft then.
Your best bet's the protected southern corners to have a swim at the moment.
Meantime, our Surf Life Savers are urging as to avoid rock fishing and always stick between the flags if we’re keen for a paddle today.
Keep up to date with closures by checking in with Central Coast Council’s social media channels.
