Central Coast Mayor Jane Smith could earn more than $107,000 a year, if council decides to adopt salary recommendations at tonight's meeting in Gosford.
Our decision makers could see a pay rise of 2.5 per cent, taking home just under $30,000 annually.
Under the arrangements, Mayor Smith would receive an extra $86,000 on top of this.
However, 10 per cent of that bonus would go to Deputy Chris Holstein, taking home a total of $38,000.
The pay rise would kick in from July 1st.
Meantime, efforts to give Gwandalan a new playground continue this evening, as Mayor Smith looks to ask staff to investigate whether one can go in the Kanangra Drive area.
A park was once planned as part of a new housing subdivision, but residents say the developer deleted it without telling them.
