Man to face court after Wamberal break-ins

A man will face Gosford local court today, after allegedly breaking into three properties in Wamberal yesterday evening.

Police say the 28 year old forced his way into properties on McGee Avenue, Gosford Road and Ocean View drive, before being confronted by the owner while inside the last property.

He fled, but was arrested by police nearby. Officers reportedly found stolen property on him.

He's been charged with 5 offences, including Aggravated Break & Enter commit serious indictable offence.

In other news from this morning, two people have been transported to hospital, following a two car crash on the Pacific Highway through Doyalson early this morning.

Ambulance NSW was called to the intersection of Wyee road around 5:30, and after paramedics gave treatment on scene one person was taken to Wyong Hospital and another to John Hunter in Newcastle.

There's no info yet on their genders or the extent of their injuries, but police say they're not considered to be life-threatening, and there's no need for a crash investigation.
