Motorists are advised that changed traffic conditions are continuing on Rip Bridge at Ettalong, for essential maintenance work to be carried out.
To ensure continued and safe operation of Rip Bridge, work will involve repairing the concrete abutments at both ends of the bridge.
Work will continue from Monday 14 May and is expected to be completed by late June, weather permitting.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays, and on occasions between 7pm and midnight.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
There will also be temporary single lane closures to allow the delivery of project equipment. To minimise impact to traffic, the temporary closures will be between 7pm and midnight.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
