A man has died after hitting a Tuggerah roundabout on his motorbike overnight.
The 22 year old was travelling northbound on Gavenlock Road when the accident occurred, near Johnson road around 8pm.
It's understood the man was thrown from his bike on impact and slammed into a "Give Way" sign.
Police officers provided first aid, before the man was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers investigating say the man was riding without a license and on an unregistered bike when he crashed, and also believe speed played a part.
Inquiries continue, while six lives have now been lost on the Coast's roads since the start of the year.
