Three people were injured after a ten-vehicle crash on the M1, north of Sydney, yesterday.
About 3.50pm, emergency services were called to the M1, northbound at Mooney Mooney, after reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
Police were told that a woman had been seen walking across six lanes of traffic prior to the incident. The woman was spoken too by an off-duty paramedic and was uninjured.
When emergency services arrived, Fire & Rescue NSW attended to a vehicle with a ruptured LPG tank.
Three people, aged 44, 43 and 28, were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene, before being taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic diversions were in place for a number of hours.
