Brisbane Water Detectives are asking for help to identify a man, following the identification fraud of two elderly women.
It's alleged on Sunday February 19, a 91 year old woman visited a nursing home on The Entrance Rd, Erina.
The following morning she was contacted by a man, claiming he'd found her purse.
She was asked to confirm personal details.
Officers commenced inquiries and found she'd had more than $29,000 taken from her account.
They managed to link a similar incident that occurred last November, where a 93 year old woman received a similar phone call, before finding she'd had $12,000 taken.
CCTV images of a man have been released.
He's described as Caucasian, aged in his 40s, wearing a fluoro work shirt, blue pants, tan boots a wide brim hat and sunnies.
Police believe he was also driving a grey Toyota Kluger.
If you recognise the person of interest, you're being urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
