Teen to face court after Peninsula rampage

A man has been refused bail to face Gosford Local Court court today, after he allegedly stabbed a man and assaulted two other people in a rampage on the Peninsula overnight.

The 19 year old allegedly confronted a 21 year old with a knife on Morris Street around 6:45pm.

Police have been told the younger man produced a knife and allegedly slashed the other man on the chest and hand.

The teen then allegedly chased the injured man into a caravan armed with a glass bottle, threatening further harm.

When forced form the caravan by the owners, he allegedly drove to Ridge Street, Ettalong Beach, started doing burnouts and assaulted a two locals who tried to stop him.

He was arrested in Trafalgar Avenue around 9pm, and charged with reckless wounding, aggravated break and enter, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.
