Yarramalong Brigade has announced the passing of one of it's founding members and first captain, Dennis (Denny) Lee.
Denny was a driving force behind the building of Yarramalong’s fire station in 1998.
Before the station was built, the Brigade operated out of Dot and Denny’s property, where the old dairy was used as a meeting place, and the trucks and equipment were stored in their shed.
From Yarramalong RFS Facebook - 'Denny has been a great friend and an exceptional mentor, not just to our Brigade but to many RFS members throughout our District. The work and hours he has put into the RFS are immeasurable. RIP Denny, the Brigade will truly miss you'.
