"RIGHT NOW" First Single From Jasmine Rae's Upcoming New Album

Multi-award winning songstress, Jasmine Rae, released her new single, Right Now, on Thursday, the first from her much-anticipated upcoming new album, set for release in early 2020 through ABC Music.

New music from Jasmine has been a while coming and Right Now gives a taste of what is yet to come from Jasmine. Produced by Lindsey Jackson (Jessica Mauboy, Tori Kelly, The McClymonts) and co-written with emerging Australian duo Winterbourne (James Draper and Jordan Brady), the track came about through Jasmine confronting her personal struggles.

Being real is a superpower, it’s what heals us together. Sharing and reaching out changes our brain chemistry and we don’t feel so alone. I’m so very grateful for the opportunity to share new music, because as much as I’m scared stiff, making it has helped me, challenged me and changed me,” Jasmine explains.  “There’s no ‘right way’ to live your best life. But if there’s a ‘right time’ it’s Right Now! When you listen to this song, I hope you feel inspired, understood and like a moment is being shared …Right Now!”

Described as a “pocket-sized powerhouse” and “one of the best singers in any genre”, Jasmine has an extensive list of accolades to her name. A brutally honest songwriter and electrifying live performer, Jasmine is a three-time ARIA nominee, a nine-time Golden Guitar finalist, the only female solo artist to ever win the prestigious fan-voted CMC Oz Artist of the Year award and has ten #1 Australian Country singles and music videos to her credit. Jasmine has also been recognized internationally, winning the CMA Jeff Walker Global Artist of the Year award and was named as a grand-finalist in the 2016 International Songwriting Awards.

“I simply have to write music. It’s always been my way of thinking out loud and figuring things out. Writing and performing allows me express those feelings - to be dramatic, be loud or be fragile, be emotional, be repetitive and be real,” says Jasmine Rae.
