Australia has come second in a list of countries with the most positive influence globally.
A new study by Ipsos MORI surveyed 18,055 adults from 25 countries asking which and international organisations (including the EU and UN) they perceived as having the most positive influence on the world.
Respondents were asked: "Thinking about right now, would you say [my country] is having an overall positive or a negative influence on world affairs? % “positive”
Canada topped the list with a score of 81 per cent while Australia came second with 79 per cent.
Germany rounded out the top three with 67 per cent.
The report also saw the United States’ score plummet by 24 per cent compared to the previous report– ranking behind China and only one place ahead of Russia.
