Israel Folau has confirmed that he will challenge Rugby Australia's decision less than 90 minutes before the deadline.
The Wallabies star had been given until 2pm today to request a code of conduct hearing or accept the termination of his contract.
According to Wide World of Sports, Folau has opted for the former and will challenge the breach notice handed down to him last week.
The 30-year-old was found to have committed a "high-level breach" of the professional players Code of Conduct by the RA Integrity Unit over posts to his social media accounts on April 10.
More to come.
