One Nation Up In The Polls After Pauline's Burqa Stunt

Primary vote surge

One Nation Up In The Polls After Pauline's Burqa Stunt Pic: AAP

It appears Pauline Hanson's burqa stunt hasn't hurt her political image one bit, despite being condemned by fellow pollies and critics.

The latest Newspoll released by The Australian has revealed support for One Nation has surged, with their primary vote increasing from eight to nine per cent in just two weeks.

The party still has a long way to go though to catch up to the major parties, with Labor's primary vote soaring to 38 per cent, while the Coalition has fallen to a low of 35 per cent on the back of last week's dual citizenship drama.
