Ryan Reynolds has posted an emotional letter after a stuntwoman passed away on the set of his upcoming film Deadpool 2.
Global News has reported that the woman was filming a motorcycle scene when she lost control and crashed into a glass window.
Paramedics were promptly on the scene and took the woman to hospital where she later passed away.
Reynolds, who has been heavily promoting his new film on social media, posted a heartfelt note to the woman's friends and family."Today, we tragically lost a member of our crew while filming Deadpool.
"We're heartbroken, shocked and devastated... but recognize nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment.
"My heart pours out to them -- along with each and every person she touched in this world".
The identity of the stuntwoman has not yet been released and filming has temporarily ceased.
