One local Coffs Coast farmer and truck driver has aired his opinions when it comes to the drought in New South Wales with a video on social media.
Eliezer Robinson, or Robbo, is a great supporter of the cattle industry and didn’t miss when he spoke about the way things are on the land.
The passionate, salt of the earth farmer from the Orara Valley, a stones throw to the west of Coffs Harbour, believes that the major parties have lost their way and don’t care about the people.
While on a trip to Boggabri in the state’s west, Mr Robinson reflected on the conversation with a man who doesn’t think the rain will come to drought effected land this side of the hot weather.
In his video he is calling on politicians to do something, and to help the farmers.
Drought is not the only thing making life tough on the land, Mr Robinson himself, and others have had problems on the land recently with wild dogs taking over and killing stock on properties in the area.
