Triple M’s Mark Geyer has slammed the NRL’s decision to reportedly block the Wests Tigers move to appoint Laurie Daley as their halves coach.
Fairfax Media reported earlier this week, the block was due to Daley’s radio job having ties to the betting industry.
Speaking on The Rush Hour with MG, Geyer labelled the decision a head shaker, showing a lack of respect for a person who has been an ornament to the game.
"There's an oval called Lottoland that we play at," Geyer said.
"How many betting agencies pump money into rugby league?!"
