Newly crowned Supercars champion Scott McLaughlin has made full use of his brand new silverware - filling it up with nuggets at McDonald's.
After a chaotic final round of races at Newcastle, in which former champion Shane van Gisbergen was stripped of his win in the first race, fellow New Zealander Scott McLaughlin finished second in the final race of the season to claim his first Supercars championship.
And after leaving the Newcastle racetrack, McLaughlin went straight to McDonald's for a feast.
When asked by 1 News how he celebrated the victory, McLaughlin stated: "A lot of drinking out of the cup, we managed to fit 40 chicken nuggets in the cup too, which I think wasn't done before." he said.
"(Which) I'm pretty proud of."
